Our Passion is Horses at Sierra Ranch!
We have two passions. Trail riding and race horses. Sometimes we get to do both at the
same time. When that happens no one is safe on the trails. :) Course I am just kidding.
Come join us on the trail and enjoy the experience.
We moved to our place in April 2003 and soon after began collecting ex-race horses.
Of course they weren't ex's at the time we got them. :) They all had promising careers.
But as they evolved things would happen and we would follow through with our promise
to have a place for them to retire. After finding out that placing them with new owners was
at times very difficult due to the bond we develop with each horse we have moved more to
leasing the horses. If you find one and show that you will maintain interest we will again
consider selling one of our horses.

until we find the perfect match and then we train horse and rider together. We also have
several fine trail horses for sale or trade. Most of the ex's are for lease and not sale
unless we find THE perfect match. Why actually buy when you can lease for the same
