Henry begins his retraining in winter 2007. Henry has several more months of just lounging in the pasture before we begin to teach him pleasure riding. He had some race injuries that will heal with time and he will just need some time to take it easy. He is very willing to learn a new job. He is a very well mannered horse and nows several voice commands already. I feel he will be easy to retrain.
Henry has a very unquie look about him. That's why we included so many pictures. Notice his ears. They curve inward more than other TB's. I was told by the trainer that he was a bit inquisitive at the track. He could get out of his stall and would go wondering. He has not done such at the ranch, but then we have not given him the chance to be silly. :)
Henry does all the standard horse things: Load, stands for the shoer, takes baths, is easy to catch. He is current on his shots and worming. Henry will be a great all round horse for low levels activites. He may not be suited for jumping or eventing due to past injuries. $5,000 or best offer. Remember the price will go up with more retraining.
